This SiloVape Privacy Policy explains how the operator of silovape.com (“SiloVape”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you browse the website, change language or currency, use an account where available, place or track an order, submit a review, request wholesale information, or contact support.
Data controller and privacy contact: SiloVape, the trading name used by the operator of silovape.com; email support@silovape.com; WhatsApp +86 153 8593 9200; web form Contact. At the date shown above, the public checkout has no enabled payment or shipping method and cannot complete an online order. Before a retail or wholesale transaction is accepted outside that state, the legally identified seller and any geographic or postal details required for the transaction must be provided in the checkout information, quotation, invoice, or order documentation.
1. Scope
This notice applies to personal information handled through SiloVape’s online retail and wholesale activities. A payment provider, carrier, age-verification provider, marketplace, social network, or linked website may act as a separate controller under its own notice. This policy does not replace the privacy notice of an independent third party.
The store is intended only for adults who meet the requirements in our Age Policy. It is not directed to children.
2. Information We Collect

Please provide only information relevant to the request. The contact form currently asks for a name, email address, topic, optional order number, and message. Do not enter payment-card details, passwords, or identity documents in the general message field.
3. How and Why We Use Personal Information
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) or similar law applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract: to maintain a cart or account, take steps requested before an order, process payment, accept and fulfil an order, arrange delivery, provide tracking, handle returns, and answer order-related requests.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records, respond to valid legal requests, meet product, customs, safety, age-restriction, sanctions, recall, and consumer-law duties.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the website, prevent fraud and misuse, troubleshoot errors, understand basic storefront performance, protect legal claims, improve support, and operate an efficient retail and wholesale service, after considering affected rights.
- Consent: for optional marketing, non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, or another activity where consent is the appropriate basis. Consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
We may use the information to:
- operate, cache, secure, translate, and improve the website;
- manage carts, accounts, product quantities, tier pricing, currency display, checkout, orders, reviews, and tracking;
- check stock, destination, payment, age, identity, and wholesale eligibility;
- communicate about orders, support, returns, product safety, recalls, fraud, or policy changes;
- measure where visits and orders came from and diagnose storefront performance;
- enforce our Terms and Conditions; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use order acceptance as consent to unrelated marketing. Where marketing is offered, the message or preference control explains how to unsubscribe.
4. How We Disclose Information
We disclose only the information reasonably needed for the relevant function. Recipients may include:
- website hosting, content-delivery, cache, backup, security, development, and technical-support providers;
- WordPress and WooCommerce-related services that support carts, accounts, checkout, reviews, quantities, currency, translation, and order tracking;
- payment processors, acquiring banks, fraud-prevention services, and financial institutions when a payment method is enabled and selected;
- warehouses, suppliers, packaging providers, carriers, customs brokers, tracking services, and delivery partners;
- email-delivery and customer-support providers;
- age, identity, business, sanctions, or compliance verification providers where a check is necessary;
- analytics or advertising providers only when such a service is enabled and has a lawful basis;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors, tax authorities, regulators, law enforcement, or courts where reasonably necessary or legally required; and
- a buyer, seller, or adviser involved in a proposed merger, financing, reorganisation, or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some laws use broader definitions of “sale”, “sharing”, or targeted advertising. If SiloVape activates an activity covered by those definitions, we will provide the notice and choice required by the applicable law.
5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
The storefront uses cookies or similar storage to perform functions such as maintaining a shopping cart and an existing account session, securing forms, remembering language or currency, attributing a visit or order to its source, and supporting checkout and order features. The active age gate uses the eav-age-verified session cookie after a visitor confirms eligibility. Review and tracking tools can also set or read technical data when their features are used.
- Strictly necessary: security, network delivery, cart, checkout, account authentication, load balancing, and user-requested functions.
- Preferences: language, currency, region, display choices, and age acknowledgement where enabled.
- Measurement and attribution: referring source, campaign or session information, aggregated performance, and diagnostics.
- Advertising: audience or campaign technologies, only if separately enabled.
At the date of this notice, the public storefront does not load a Google Analytics measurement tag. Installed software or an integration becoming available does not by itself mean that it is sending analytics data. If optional analytics or advertising is activated later, this notice and any required consent choices will be updated.
You can use any privacy or cookie control displayed on the site and can delete or block cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent the cart, account, checkout, language, currency, or tracking functions from working. Where consent is legally required, refusing optional technologies will not prevent access to the core store.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and legal requirements. The period depends on the record:
- cart, session, cache, and security data are generally short-lived unless needed to investigate misuse;
- account information is kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, subject to deletion requests and legal duties;
- orders, invoices, refunds, and tax records are retained for the accounting, consumer, product-safety, customs, and limitation periods that apply;
- support, return, warranty, and dispute records are retained until the matter and relevant claim period are closed;
- reviews may remain published until removed or anonymised, subject to moderation, legal rights, and record needs; and
- verification information is kept no longer than necessary for the verification, fraud prevention, and legal purpose, with preference for a result or status rather than an unnecessary document copy.
When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymise, or securely isolate it, unless preservation is required by law or for a legal claim.
7. International Data Transfers
SiloVape serves customers across borders, and its operator and service providers may process information outside the country where the customer lives, including outside the European Economic Area. Privacy laws in those locations may differ.
Where transfer law requires it, we use an available lawful mechanism such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, another approved safeguard, or a limited statutory derogation. We also consider technical and organisational protections appropriate to the information and service.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted transport where supported, least-privilege administration, software updates, filtering, backups, and service-provider controls. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Protect your account password and do not reuse it on other services. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, a fraudulent order, or a message impersonating SiloVape. We will assess suspected incidents and make regulator or individual notifications where the law requires them.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the legal basis used, you may have rights to:
- be informed and obtain access to personal information;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion or restriction in applicable circumstances;
- receive portable information when the legal conditions are met;
- object to direct marketing and, in some cases, processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time for future processing based on consent;
- request human review where a solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects; and
- complain to a competent data-protection authority.
The European Commission provides an official overview of individual rights under the GDPR. Rights are not absolute; for example, some order and tax records must be retained despite a deletion request.
To exercise a right, email support@silovape.com or use Contact and label the request “Privacy”. Describe the account, order, email address, or interaction concerned. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity and authority. Do not send an identity document until we provide a secure method and explain why it is needed. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
10. Automated Checks
Storefront, payment, security, fraud, eligibility, or delivery systems may automatically flag a transaction for review. We may hold or refuse an order when there is a lawful, material risk. Where a decision based solely on automated processing would produce legal or similarly significant effects and applicable law grants a review right, you may contact us to request human intervention, express your view, or contest the result.
11. Children and Minors
We do not knowingly accept orders from or direct the store to minors. If you believe a minor has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. We may retain limited information when necessary to prevent another unlawful attempt, protect safety, comply with law, or establish a legal claim.
12. Third-Party Links and Changes to This Notice
The website may link to brands, carriers, regulators, social platforms, or other independent sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Review them before submitting information.
We may update this policy when services, providers, laws, or processing activities change. The date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how existing personal information is used, we will provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
